    In his third full season racing in NASCAR's Elite Series with the best drivers that "North" America has to offer - Montoya is showing that he can run with the bet of them. Oh sure, he hasn't won on an oval yet but a second place finish at Talladega "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJPlRSKNJX8":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJPlRSKNJX8 and the Brickyard "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81MyaKUoFkk":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81MyaKUoFkk ain't too shabby. Up to this point Montoya has figured out the best way to contend for the Championship is to points race. If things work out as planned and he does make the chase, expect to see the aggressive exciting type of driving that Juan is known for. He's tempered his driving to this point but he will be hungry for wins and a Championship when the time comes. This weekend will be another exciting one for me and other Montoya fans. Are there any other drivers out there that have a Brickyard trophy to go along with an Indy 500 trophy?

      I pretty much agree with your opinions on the best drivers in the world but don't understand how you include Robby Gordon when he's 34th in the standings. I'm not aware of his other accomplishments I guess. Danica would be great publicity for NASCAR and I hope she decides to give it a shot. She probably would have limited success though.

      Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Juan P Montoyo, Robby Gordon, Carl Edwards, and Kyle Busch are the best in the world. I really like Sam Hornish, who was one of the best in IRL and he cant even crack the top 20-25. Danica Patrick will be in for a rude awakening if she comes to nascar, then after a year she will be crawling on her hands and knees to get back into the IRL. The minor leagues of North American racing.

      I think this a 4 flag blog. but i gave you 5 because I do like Montoya, and don't get the fan input as i do for kyle and JR. But then they have the fans.
