My wife of 45 years and I grew up 100 miles north of Syracuse NY. We went to the same High School ( Norwood - Norfolk Central High School ). We were married when I graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. I entered the US Army in Nov. 1962 as a 2nd Lt. Two months later we bought a 1959 Jaguar XK150 Convertible. That started me on a long love affair with cars (MGTD, Porsche's, Triumphs, BMW's Mazda RX7, Mazda RX8, Honda S2000 and yes along the way a 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400. Went to many SCCA and CAN-AM races at Laguna Seca before retiring in Grants Pass, OR in 1991. Started watching NASCAR in 2000 and we have not missed a televised race ( Truck, Busch, Cup) in the past 3 years.
