You are wrong again my friend.A driver could actually be the point champion in this chase without winning a Chase race.Get your head out of you Dale,Jr, ever loving no talent **** and face the facts.
You should know quite a lot about being the 1st loser if you are a Jr. fan.
Short track racing had double file restarts long before NASCAR and where do you think 90% of these drivers came from. It's pretty bad when the drivers are asked not to say anything bad about the Chase. No racing isn't entertianment anymore, because if it was,the stands would be filled,TV rating swould be up and the NFL would not be the # 1 sport.

Actually I like David Reutimann but they don't anything for him. Also I can see you have nothing to root about with your so-called good driver either.

Sorry but you are wrong here. You mentioned consitency as being the key ingredient to making the top 12 but then you go on to say that Kenseth's championship with out a win flawed the system.
These 12 drivers in this 10 race chase might not finish in the top 12 had it been the old system.Edwards was your 36 race champion last year, not your 10 race champion.Stewart would be leading this year, not Jimmie J.
        It's a joke,that even a race fan like your self,can actually say 10 races determines a champion.
The difference between ball sports, hockey and racing is that it is just 2 teams, that withstood a full season and the playoffs, not a straight 10 races or games to determine a champion. They had to play against each other,2 teams, not 12.Big difference there.

You have contradicted yourself throughout your whole reply. You said Matt Kenseth should not have been a champion, because he didn't win,but you go on to say it was the most consistant drivers that make the chase....the difference????....NONE
You mention the Pats and the Giants.Big difference, they have to play other teams head to head and that was earned from the season. It is a season ,that turns to playoffs ,than a champion. So what should NASCAR do,have Jimmie J race Edwards week one,the winner meets,Kahne and so on.
Look at the old system and we would have had Gordon as a Champion,Stewart as a champion and Edwards as a champion, that is after 36 races ,not 10.
        Your thinking is flawed.
Look at all the recent Chase races, other than Reutimann,Harvick,Kyle B. and a few others, who made up the top 12.Hell the one race had 10 of the top 12 in the top 12.Real fun to watch.
There is no incentive at all for the outside the 12 teams to even think about running for a win,NASCAR would surely frown upon that.
Look at the stands, the TV ratings and the decline in interest and tell me what you responded with is the answer.
Give the championship to a non-winner,he deserves it.
