After living in Michigan (HOCKEYTOWN) and moving to Charlotte in 2002, where you don't see too much on hockey, I converted to NASCAR. It was easier to become a NASCAR fan than a Hurricane's fan. Sorry, but I'm loyal to the Red Wings! I LOVE NASCAR. I will admit it took me a while to understand the rules, how the cars 'work', and how important your crew chief & pit crew are. To all the shows & commentators on SPEED, RaceDay, and the actual races, thank you for your assistance! Thanks to nice sales and gift certificates to the NASCAR store, I have a nice collection of T's and hats!! YOU NEED TO REPRESENT YOUR DRIVER every day - not just on the weekend. I live in Charlotte, and it is funny how many people do not "represent" and I know we ARE a NASCAR CITY! *Dale Jr. is my all-time FAVE for too many reasons to list. Not too hard to figure out with my user name! I do like lots of other drivers for lots of different reasons and will cheer for them as well. I just do not wear their gear. Sorry, I'm loyal to 88! 2009: I'd like to see Mark Martin take the trophy!
