        the organization refunded season ticket holders after they got rid of the whole world series team before the '98 season. that has to be a smack in the fans face traded your entire championship team to get rid of salaries. really sad for baseball...

        i am loyal to the teams i grew up liking (Yankees, A's and Dodgers), but i am more loyal to the players i followed since i was young. i never rooted for the Mets, despite my favorite player playing there for years. i didn't root for them to lose, but i could never warm up to that team lol
