Profile:
Profile..hmmmm.
I’m a lifelong racing fan that is continuously amazed at nascar’s (undeserving of capital letters)push to ignore and alienate those like me…the one’s who supported the sport when only TNN wanted to air the sport, and killing ‘markets’ like North Wilksboro, and the 2nd race at Darlington, for the sake of a more cosmopolitan market share….
I think that there is a pretty fair amount of ‘favoritism’ through phantom cautions, tickling the rules for this or that make of car, and inconsistant penalties from team to team.
Other interests:
I own an oilfield trucking company, promote a kart track, My 12 year old races a ministock that I built. I also announce and do promotions for a stock car track.

apparently
nascar no longer appreciates their lifelong fans and are trying to bring in a new fan base. That’s all I can figure.I hope when they change everything to please their new fans those fans stay with them cause they are slowly losing their core fan base.Dirt tracks everywhere will benefit and maybe years down the road we will have a new “nascar” that isn’t a total power trip.
