    In the off season we might have more time to read books or magazines. I just picked up a copy of "Chicken Soup for the NASCAR Soul" by various writers. In the _From The Heart _section is a story by Monte Dutton titled "Hard Racer, Soft Heart". The most poignant quote I've seen in a long time precedes the story. It states, *"Every day, try to help someone who can't reciprocate your kindness"*. Coach John Wooden spoke those words. In the light of recent occurrences, I for one am going to give this a try. Just for fun, I want to challenge you, the reader, to do the same to the best of your ability. Not only that, I would like you to tell *what good reads you have on your list*.

      And...*Your suggested reads can be any thing!*
      I like a good mystery to break things up every so often.
      Oh! I just thought of a book I finished recently. It's "In Pursuit of Peace" by Joyce Meyer. For you dog lovers, "Be the Pack Leader" by Ceasar Milan is good.

      books are really good books. Not Nascar but some of the funniest books around. The guys here would really like them.

      yup, I tried it and it's awkward to say the least :)
      I'm always looking for new reads, I'll check the ones you mentioned out.
      And, for no good reason other than you being so special, you might find a book in your mailbox!

      Nascar.com blogging it cuts into my reading time.;)
      I just finished Dean Koontz one door away from heaven. My favorite author,not his usual style book.
      Now reading the lovely bones by Alice Sebald
      I'll have to look for the chicken soup for Nascar souls,maybe I'll get it for Christmas?
