NASCAR,I GREW UP WITH NASCAR.
I went to my first race in 1967; I was 12 years old.
My uncle drove late model stock at ASCOT PARK, IN GARDENA CALIF.
When I got my Pit Pass that day, They pumped oil into my veins.I was hooked for life!
I spent the next 12 years at Ascot Park, every Sunday. I was there, watching the races.
Figure 8, (Sprint_World of Outlaws),Motorcycle_TT,Half Mile Oval. We went to every race there was, if it was at Saugus or Ontario or Riverside Speedway.We were there to race!
I watched them film the original movie (GONE IN 60 SECONDS) at Ascot Park.
I remember JUNIOR JOHNSON driving car 27 at Ascot Park.
And Kinser 1978 World of Outlaws at Ascot Park.
I met my husband at the race track.
He drove car 12 won two championships.
I drove powder-puff oval 1/2 mile.
Our son drove sprint cars when he turned 16.
I have been to 23 Nascar Races.
Texas,Phoenix,Vegas,Riverside Calif.
I been to Two Grand Prix Races Long Beach Calif the first in 1975.
I have ate dirt and drank oil.
I am old school Nascar.
I am Proud to be a Nascar Fan!
