Jocko Flocko

Saturday April 19, 2008 @ 01:14 PM EDT

Just a little Nascar history on the Flock family. Tim, Ethel, and Bob Flock. And lets not forget Jocko Flocko, the monkey.
In 1952 Tim Flock and his monkey win the Nascar Grand National Championship. The monkey received 5% and a banana. Jocko’s career came to an end when Jacko opened a flap sitting above a tire, (used to monitor tire wear) and was hit in the eye by race track debris, causing an unscheduled pit stop by Tim and thus ending Jockos time in the car. Just thought this was an interesting piece of Nascar History!
