I dig
the heck out of Kasey; for anyone to say he was only voted in by women or “bought” his way thru his sponser is ridiculous. He had a rough year last year, but he’s still a SUPERSTAR in my opinion!

Kahne still..
Would have won the fan vote if he were still in a dodge sponsored car. He’s been popular ever since 2006 because of his demeanor, and other aesthetic qualities (by females). And his racing ability is pretty stout as well. He’s not in my top 5 but he’s definately nowhere near the bottom of my list. (I was voting for mikey (My 2nd fav)to get in the show)

All-Star
to the general public is a combination of best and most popular. To me its just the best. I think Kasey Kahne should be in there because of his place in points myself.

Being there...
is always more exciting. The race wasn’t that dull because of all the twists and turns.

NON-EXISTENT
Budweiser wanted their car in the race, so NASCAR Fixed-it, made it happen! Budweiser has spent more total, on NASCAR Promotion during the last decade than even Sprint. There was NO-WAY that the Bud Car was going to be left out of the Allstar Race. “PS” TODAY’s NASCAR is run (controled) by SPONSOR DOLLARS, not the so called fan base! With the BIG BIG Sponsor and the BIG BIG TV money, the fan is a very distant third place, so wake-up, you no longer count for munch. Whine all you want, it won’t change anything for the NEW NASCAR of today.

Just shows
that it is not such a fan-based event ater all. Marketing has conceptions and realities. Welcome to the reality. There was no real drama compared to lets say a race or two ago so someone had to come up with something or we would have already forgotten about the race. A huge non-event unless you were there. Always more fun at such an event as compared to watching at home.
