Yes Sir! Nascar is looking good!
Think about several things here:
Kyle: Who’d have thought he’d be owning Nascar right now? Alot of people figured he had one foot in the grave when ole Rick gave him the boot!
personally, I’m glad! it made Kyle stand up and prove everyone wrong!
Rag him all you want, The results are in your face! Boo him if you want, it just makes him more determined!
The COT: WOW! This car is awesome! Sure, there are still a few naysayers, but for the most part, they have lost their steam! they know they are wrong! Still a few hold outs,but they will get it soon. The speeds are off the charts at some tracks, The plate races are awesome! Been a lot of sling shot moves for a car that can’t pass! If you smack the wall, you still have a great chance of finishing the race! Less drivers getting hurt too!
Did you notice how fast they get up to speed at the plate traks? Usd to take a whole two laps, now they get tom full speed by the time they get to the back straight away! ARGUE THAT!
Drivers: All things being equal in the cars, the really talentd people will stand out! Thats what Nascar had in mind. It will give the smaller teams a chance! Hey, we’ve seen people running up front that we havent seen in a long time or up there ever before. Come on…David Ragan, Reed Sorenson, Brian Vickers,..the list goes on!
Maybe all those great guys were just average but with great cars! Hmmmm?
Personality: Nascar is loosening up on the drivers! letting them be themselves! ALL OF THEM! That means they can give their opinions, no matter if you agree or thuink they are stupid or not!
And remember, people say things allthe time, doesn’t mean they will do it. Sure Kyle said he didn’t have a problem wrecking people, but neither do half the drivers who have already done it. Just because they didn’t actually admit to it, doen’t make it go away! We have all said we’d kill our kids for not listening to us. Should the law go ahead and lock us up now? I don’t think so!
Jr fans said their would be retaliation….Should we do what they want to Kyle, but also bust Jr and the fans too? Why not, they said it! Nah, it’s just people running their mouth! No law agaist talking out your butt! That goes for all of us!
Yep! Nascar is AWESOME if you take the time to appreciate ALL the things that are happening!
Last year, we heard every reason why it was dying! This year, we are SEEING every reason it is growing!

how about the open wheel racers
they came in mass to NASCAR majors and thought they were soooooooo superior..found out different. Fanchetti out/injured, and the remainder slacking far behind in laps (Hornish i think – 188 @ race end last nite) why their sponsor’s believed and made them belive they could not drive truck or Bucsh before jumping 2 the top amazes me..
