Burton Wins Thriller At Bristol

Jeff Burton,the Virginia Gentleman from South Boston has captured the Nascar Sprint Series
event today in Bristol,Tenn.Burton roared to victory after Denny Hamlin had fuel pickup problems
once again while leading with 2 laps to go in the event.Burton grabbed the victory after being in 5th
place on lap 497.Hamlin had the lead with 2 to go and that's when things got crazy,Bristol style.
Harvick slid into Stewart and Burton was up to 2nd after gettiny by Stewart and Harvick behind Hamlin
when the caution flew freezing the field with 2 laps to go.Burton got a great restart and held off teammates
Harvick and Bowyer for the victory.Burton and his family,his RCR ATT Chevy lead by crew chief Scott
Miller and crew gave Richard Childress his first 1,2,3, sweep in company history and all celebrated in
victory lane!
Greg Biffle and Earnhardt,Jr. rounded out the Top 5 finisher's in the classic short track shootout that
had the 160,00 fans on their feet.The Sprint Series is off this coming weekend for Easter but race fans
the Whelen Southern Modified Tour opener is set for Saturday night,March the 22nd from Caraway Speedway
in Asheboro,N.C..The Nascar Sprint Series resumes in 2 weeks from beautiful Martinsville,Va. with the
Craftsman Truck Series and the Sprint Series running at Martinsville Speedway.By The Grace Of GOD and 600
