Ryan Newman Wins 50th Running Of The Daytona 500

Ryan Newman,the "Hoosier Hotshoe" has won the 50th running of the Daytona 500.
Newman grabbed the lead for good on the final lap after a push from teammate Kurt
Busch propelled him into the lead thur turns 3 and 4.Newman broke a 2 year victory
lane drought in his Penske Racing,Alltel,Mobile 1,Kodak Dodge to score his first Daytona 500
victory.Newman thanked his family,his teammate Busch,his crew chief and crew and his
car owner Roger Penske from victory lane.
Kurt Busch brought his Dodge across the stripe in 2nd place followed by the Toyota's of
Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch with Reed Sorenson rounding out the top 5 finishers.
Ryan Newman collected over 1.5 million dollars for winning the event plus a one of a kind,
gold Harley Earl trophy to celebrate the 50th running of the Great American Race.This week's
Atta Boy Award goes to ISC for the Excellent pre-race show.Next weekend the traveling Allstar's
