Just like everyone else
I have my favorites….I am a huge fan of the Joe Gibbs guys! I hate the fact that Tony is considering leaving the team (it will mean a whole new wardrobe!).
I have my least favorites also. I really can’t stand Jack Rousch which makes me dislike his entire organization. I was in the garage area at Texas a couple of years ago and Jack came through. He wouldn’t even acknowledge the fans that were around. it was like he was too good to shake your hand!
The Labonte brothers are down to earth guys! Bobby gave me and my foreign exchange student a tour of the hauler! And I almost ran over Terry when I turned around after talking to Bobby. He took the time to shake my hand and talk to us for a few minutes.

The 'tussels' are the best part...
I agree with your 2 drivers,
Jeff & Mark.(Are you from TX?-
I’m originally from OK, and have a best friend here in FL from TX) Ok back to basics.
Did you see the ‘mild, yet passionate fisticuffs between
Harvick & Montoya? Let’s not forget when Kyle Busch Literally ran over Kurt Busch,
his broth to win the $1million
prize…Boy was Kurt hacked off.
As for Jeff, he shoved Matt Kenseth,.. Matt crashed Gordon’s car…He was winning, knocked him out of the race and the win. That’s why.
The best fight of all was in 1976 when Cale Yarboro spun out
Donnie Allison, who was winning, they got into a fist fight, then came over Bobby Allison to help with the fight.. (that’s the favorite of a LOT of
the racers). Then there’s the Kurt Busch Tony Stewart feud.
Last year I don’t remember why I think Tony Accidentally clipped him – or could have done it on purpose…while Tony was in the pits getting serviced,
Kurt Busch came up to Tony’s
car where there was a crew member and it looked as though Kurt was gonna hit him (I’m
sure he souldn’t he stopped too fast) NASCAR WAS FUMING MAD….
We as fans like this passion they have, just not do it on the cars…..

All I know
about any driver is what I see on TV. I have yet to go to an actual live race, but as soon as the budget makes the 5 hour trip to TMS feasible, I will.
Having said that, my favorite is Jeff Burton, folowed a close 2nd by Mark Martin. They seem to be two quality, stand-up guys from what I can tell.
My least favorite is Jeff Gordon. A few years ago he approached another driver he was mad at after a race and just walked up and shoved him (I forgot who the other guy was), but didn’t even remove his own helmet to do so, and the other drivers (most) already had their helmets removed. It just seemed cheap to me. No disrespect intended. Interesting topic.
