So, who would have thought that Aj would have won the Sprint showdown after the season he has had this year. Congrats to he and the team for the victory. I know there are some haters out there who will say this is not a win. Well, to the junior fans who won the bud shootout this year? You consider that A WIN right?
I thought Aj was done after they put mike skinner in the car, but he has made it back, and has had to deal with a lot “BULL” this season.
I loved the interview after the win. Aj showed a lot of emotion, and even though he didnt run well in the all star race, he should feel honored that he raced in, and didnt have to be voted in. With that in mind, Elliott Sadler needs to back up. He is washed up, and things happen in racing that are beyond control. He was because Aj got into him. Tony Stewart had a run in with Elliott the week before, it happens. Im sure being the host of trackside will be his greatest legacy. He needs to back off carl edwards too.
Speaking of racing in, how about that qualofying effort at drlington. It reminded me of days of thunder.
I hope Aj can build on this momentum, give him time, and AJ will be a conteder.
