They should have two positions for rookies out of the 43 spots that nascar allows. and all the rookies could race for them two spots that way the rookie of the would truelhe bud shot out and the y be the rookie of the year not just getting on owners points or other dirvers points if the owner owns his contract he pretty much controls his points and his destiny…so I tgink a a battle fro the rookie of the year when some of the rookies are already provided places in the first five races. rookie of the year is redundent when some rookiesz have to race in on time. The two twin races would have been a perfect place to start the rookie points battle and against the points.Lets not forget Tony stewart also raced open wheel…...Ive watched for a lot of years they’ve raced MG’s they have rsace just about everything the first 500 had a moro racer a dirt track racer and a nascar driver I forget the other racers in the field and Bill France even agreed that would bring in a bigger fan base!
