START WITH YOUR DRIVER……….SEE IF HE SERVICED AND THEN MOVE ON TO OTHER DRIVERS…………!.
START WITH WOURLD WAR ,I AND MOVE ON TO WOURLD, WAR 11
AND SO AND SO
OUR FIRST RACE WAS HELD ON MARCH 8-1936 AT DAYTONA.
BILL FRANCE WAS BUSY PLANNING THE 1942 EVENT FOR THE DAYTONA RACE. WHEN THE JAPANESE BOMBED PEARL HARBOR.
ALL RACING STOP UNTIL AFTER THE WAR.
BILL FRANCE WORK AT DAYTONA BOAT WORKS.
HE DID NOT SERVICE IN THE MILITARY.
THIS WILL BE A CHANLLGE.
I HAVE LOOKED FOR TWO DAYS AND CAN NOT FIND ANY RECORDS SHOWING NAMES OF NASCAR DRIVER IN THE MILITARY SERVICE
IF YOU FIND ANY DRIVERS DEAD OR LIVE ANY AGE.
PLEASE POST THERE NAMES AND THE DATE THEY SERVICED.
SO WE CAN HONOR THEM HERE.

My information comes from watching
a film called “The Golden Era of NASCAR”. It was made into a three or four DVD set entitled “American Stock” It is the most interesting video on NASCAR I have ever seen.
