Personally
With the first 5 races after Daytona being so stale, NASCAR has to be loving the Richmond race. It really helped to get a lot more fan invovement.

Just what the Dr ordered
I agree with fish however, the rivalry is in the media and the fan base. On track the drivers have 42 rivalries every race, off the track it’s over and done.

I'm sure LOVIN' IT
These last 2 races have been so much more fun because of it! I hope it goes on all season. I’m going to the All Star race and I’m gonna tape Bags of M&M’s to the back window…

ABSOLUTELY!!!!
I don’t think there is a rivalry between the two drivers. All drivers have 42 rivalries each week.
But as long as the fans percieve it, they trhey will be buzzing all about it. More people will jump on the bandwagon and soon have to see for themselves! More excitement by the fans= More money for Nascar= more advertising by sponsors,= more money for the teams, = better racing for the fans!
It’s a win win situation!
Yeah, I completely agree! This IS what Nascar needed!
