Think of tags as keywords or labels that you use to group common items. Tags can be added by anyone to any blog, photo or video in the Community. The power of tags is that they can improve search results and you can easily browse them to find great content. With tags, instead of only seeing search results served and categorized by a computer, you can browse blogs, photos and videos personally reviewed and categorized by real people.
So, let’s look at an example…work with me here. I’ll type in a few words about Kasey and Kahne and Talladega and Superspeedway and, oh…how about Ryan and Newman. Oh, and we can’t forget the crash from last weekend. By typing those “keywords” into my blog, legitimately my blog can be tagged with those words….by ME or by YOU. See the tags below. NOW…click on those tags, one by one and see what you get. Every single one of the things that show up in those lists has the same tag. Go ahead, click on one of the results and see for yourself.

Ok…so what are tags NOT? They are NOT used for name-calling or arguing. They are NOT random, but rather intentional and well-thought-out. They certainly are NOT cuss-words. Typically, they are NOT conjunctions , prepositions or pronouns ...none of those are very useful tags. And oh yeah…they are NOT toys.

There’s a good point though…THAT was more of a comment, not a tag. If you want to give your opinion on a blog, comment on it.
As an FYI…as of a few days ago, I can easily see who is posting any tags…as easily as y’all can see who posts a comment. So 24…that one was posted by UNION_YES .
