Thought I would explain my profile photo. That is me on stage with 3 other winners at Texas Motor Speedway. I won 1st runner up in the Full Throttle Fan Contest in November at TMS. What fun that was.. TMS rolled out the red carpet for each finalist and 3 friends. We sat in the suites, dined on good food, visited the pits for 4 days but best of all -being on pit road for driver introductions. The photo is taken right before driver introductions on the stage on the front stretch. My suggestion – if you get the chance to enter a contest at a track – do it – you never know. You may get picked. Oh, and did I fail to mention, Texas Motorspeedway is the best..that is why they call it “The Great American Speedway”

Kay How right you are. But the best part of the contest was not winning the tickets for next year, or any of the other stuff the great folks at TMS did for us, BUT meeting you and Kathy and the others, now that is something will will stick forever.

It truly was one of my most memorable experiences. We filmed and took photos – in fact, I decided that I wanted to have all the photos developed – yikes – there were so many it cost me $80. I won season ticket package for two to 2008 races – plus pit passes. Spring and Fall Cup races and in the Summer the IRL races.
