NASCAR Products

Are rather interesting in their, um, composition. First, I found NASCAR lip balm at the dollar store. It is “nitro lemon” flavor and I was thrilled to snag it (that sounds very sad, but I get worked up about these things, and I love lemon). Last week at Aldi’s we noticed the woman in front of us in line at the cashier had a bag of . . . NASCAR potatoes. The big kind you have to peel yourself. I wasn’t sure what to make of that. What other, how shall I say, non-NASCAR type items are out there with the NASCAR logo on them? I am still wondering about those potatoes. Who decided that marketing potatoes would be a good move for NASCAR? I’m not saying it isn’t, it’s just very curious. I like a nice baked potato on the grill as much as anyone else, I just never associated them with NASCAR.
