A rule is a rule, is a rule, is a rule!

Sunday May 25, 2008 @ 09:57 PM EDT

This will come back to bite Nascar in the butt big time. Watch and see.
When Jr.came in the pits after his incident with Yeley there were FOUR infractions.
First didn’t slow for the yellow, second he passed the pace car, third he sped on pit road, and fourth he pitted when pit lane was closed.
The rules should be applied EQUALLY, to everyone, across the board. So what’s going to happen next time when someone else pulls the same crap Jr. did, say Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart? Oh I have my crystal ball out and I know it’s going to happen! It just doesn’t work. Nascar is going to have big egg on their face.
You can’t have one rule book for Jr. and another for everyone else. Let it ride and you’ve created chaos. You’re endangering everyone that those rules were intended to protect.
The only thing to do now is slap a major fine on the steward who made that decision and take his rental car away so he has to walk home. No sweat, someone from the Jr nation will give him a ride home. Ha ha!
