1. You get very upset when non-Nascar fans refer to racing
as “driving around”.
2. You tell time with Nascar drivers instead of the actual
numbers. “It’s Elliott Sadler after Mark Martin”
3. Someone asks you to check your calendar and you respond with " I
can’t, I have Texas that day".
4. Your local restaurant has finally figured out what you mean when
you order the “Talladega Chicken” or the “Rusty Wallace burger”.
5. You get in an elevator and someone asks you which floor and you
respond with “Matt Kenseth please”.
6. Your refer to your spouse as your “Crew Chief” children and
friends are your “Pit Crew”.
7. You only watch the Super Bowl to preview commercials for the
Nascar Season.
8. February 18th is marked on your calendar as a religious holiday.
9. You’ve named children or pets after your favorite driver or
team. “Here are our children Rusty and Tony and our dogs Wallace and
Stewart”
10. Towards the end of January, co-workers begin to think you are
kicking a heroine habit because you shake from the racing withdrawls.
11. You know where your favorite driver went to high school, how he
takes his coffee and you can answer the boxers or briefs question.
12. You have a countdown clock on your desk, but instead of counting
down to retirement or your vacation, it is counting down to Daytona!
13. You think Wrangler should stop showing the commercials with Dale Jr unless EVERY male can look like that in those jeans. No matter
what your 300lb neighbor thinks, he should NOT be wearing Wrangler
jeans just because Jr does.
14. Your worst fear in life is that your driver changes teams and
you have to switch from Coke to Pepsi, change your brand of beer and
trade in your Chevy for a Ford.
and the best way you know you are completely obsessed with
Nascar………….
15. You read all of the above and responded to each line
with “that’s me”.

You hit the nail right on the head!
My husband actually does tease me about going through NASCAR withdrawal! He is not a fan and I get so annoyed with him when I have to repeatedly explain that they do use some of the same numbers for Nationwide and Sprint but no they do not always belong to the same driver or even the same team!
