I had attended the Holmstead Race, after the race making way back to my parking area i can across the drivers helipad, I seen Dale Earnhardt Jr waiting for his helicopter, and being a dedicated fan of his for many years, I asked politely if i could take a photo, and much to my surprise he not only turned is back to me, but also pulled his #8 cap down. I understand that he had a bad season ending race, and that it was his last race as #8, but after actually seeing him and his reaction, it has me wondering why i by every piece of his merchandised materials i can find, and why i spend so much on tickets every year…..thanks for the realization JR and maybe i will be rooting for matt kenseth next year. My current favorite second driver is Jeff Gordon, but after my experience, i think these big name driver’s heads are getting to big for them…

You do know he is Dale Earnhardt Sr.’s son don’t you….... Dale cant do no wrong. When anything happens it is always somone elses fault. Most of them alreay have him crowned as the 08 Champ.. I’ve said this many times IF Jr didn’t have SR’s name WHERE would he be today???
Funny thing is I’ve always liked Dale but I like Kerry just as much…...

i cant believe he would actually do that i know he was stressed out but to actually avoid a fan, what a jerk i liked dale jrs personality but now i dont know i know he sucks at driving though btw instead of pulling for kenseth, why not tony stewart or someone thats not ford ” or jimmie johnson”
