Hello friends!
Just got power back and it may be brief so I wanted to post this blog! First of all I wanted to THANK YOU to SO many people in this community who were so wonderful throughout this ordeal! Carson, you and your beautiful wife Patty were AWESOME! Thank you for being my eyes and ears and telling me what was going on when we lost power and didn’t know what was happening around us – I know you didn’t sleep that night and I want to be mad at you, but I’m so grateful I just can’t! 
Thank you also to Kphillips (my BFF and Sister! ) and Carson and his wife Patty as well as Lori (JGRKBluvs18) for the offer to stay with you while we tried to get power restored and debris cleaned up! To the many members who offered prayers and support and even mailing me candles (Yes, you Pookie!!) THANK YOU!
It was tough but we were very fortunate and I’m grateful for that; if some damage to the roof and a power loss was the worst of it, then I count myself as lucky! Because Carson was so precise in his findings, I discovered that we were 3 miles outside of the eye, with winds sustained at 100 mph although the meteorologists say that once they find the equipment they’ll be able to give us a better idea.
Well, I don’t know how to thank everyone enough for everything and K, THANK YOU for keeping everyone posted on my sistuation!!!
