As a member of the Army for almost eight years I have to take this time and honor those of us that paid the altimate scarifice. As most people will be enjoying the race or races this weekend I hope that they can remember those that have fallen for us to be able to enjoy the multitude of freedoms we normally take forgranted. To all those who have died whether in time of war or in peace they and their families still paid the ultimate sacrifice and that will never be forgotten by me. As for me I shall do the usual memorial day tradition and go to the National cemetary and truely honor those that paid the price I luckily didn’t have to. To Spc Stehle and SFC Weisenberg this weekend is for you, although you guys are with me always. I hope the rest of us will take Monday to truely remember Memorial day as most will be camping or BBQing take a few minutes and thank those who have died for our country.
