How I deal..
With this sport is this. I love racing no matter what transpires, but it can be frustrating if the top 10 have noone of your favorite drivers. So, what I’ve done is come up with a list of drivers I want to do well. Each have places where I can leave the track saying “One of my drivers made me proud today”. And the chances of none of them doing that are slim (Tho one race in richmond a few years ago every single one of my top 10 wrecked in the race)
1. Jr. (Love a win, happy top 10)
2. Mikey (Top 20)
3. Jeff Burton (Top 10)
4. Martin Truex Jr. (Top 15)
5. Kevin Harvick (Top 10)
6. Clint Bowyer (Top 10)
7. Michael McDowell (Top 25 lead lap)
8. Paul Menard (Top 15)
9. Aric Almirola (Top 20)
10. David Reutimann (Top 15)
If there is a day where all of that happens, I would be one happy camper. Having multiple favorite drivers helps me enjoy races that much more.

Right on
Sure I may spend most of the race cheering for Kyle or Jeff Gordon (if he can ever get things going right) to win, but even when they are out I don’t just turn it off. I love the sport and love to see many other drivers have good days or even bring home a win. I won’t deny that once my first picks are out I’m cheering for others, but when it comes down to it if all my favs were out and it was between two I barely can stand, all I want to see is some good racing and I’ve been happy with all of it this year.

AMEN BROTHER!
I love Nascar! My driver( Kenseth) isn’t doing so hot this year, But I still enjoy every race! Id’ watch it if they used Pintos!
It’s about the bigger picture, not just your favorite driver! besides, if my driver always won, why watch? I’d already know he was going to win.
Great blog!
