I would like others opinion on cup drivers being allowed to race in the nationwide and truck series. I don’t think it’s really fair. The cup drivers are more experienced and they are taking up spaces that would otherwise be filled by new talent wanting to race.

as long as they do it full time! That way , they are regulars too!
If its just forthe occasional practice, then no! It shouldn’t be allowed.
Maybe they should be required to run X number of races to be able to race at all!

This may
also have to do with a drivers contract in the nationwide series,and Craftsman truck series,some are obligated to complete their prior contracts,and yes some probally resign for extra time on the tracks in preparing for the cup race.

I think NASCAR thinks they need the Cup drivers to bring in the fans. I didn’t like it, but now I see their point. From the drivers view, they like the extra track time too.
