Who doesn’t love that combination? So, who is up for a BBQ cookoff at the TEXAS Motorspeedway on 2 November? Unsanctioned obviously by any real BBQ cookoff league, but hey, just for fun? Many of us do that very thing anyway. I know I do, just about every weekend. I started yesterday smokin’ shrimp k-bob’s and sausage, etc. Anyway, just a thought, or question rather, posed to the community.

Outstanding!
The “dutch oven”…never a dull moment. I think if nothing else, the BBQ is tough, the sausage too dry, the beans too salty, the beer will always be cold, the friends always be the best!

Just put
Black eyed peas and sausage i the crock pot. Never tried sausage with peas- usually fat back or ham hock, but It ought to come out pretty good!
If nothing else, I can do the “dutch oven” om my wife! That alone will be worth it!
