Pocono - Qualifying

Friday June 06, 2008 @ 05:53 PM EDT

Ugh!! Such a bad qualifying spot! I was really hoping that we’d do much better. What we have going for us is a great driver. I think he will be working his tail off on Sunday.

Congratulations to Kasey Kahne! It is nice to see him back up front and doing well. I hope that he has a good race. And congrats to JJ! Way to go! Hopefully Chad and the crew can keep him up front all race long. It would be nice for HMS to get a second race win this year. I don’t care which one of them does it – just SOMEBODY PLEASE WIN!!

I’m glad to see those go-or-go-homers are doing good with their qualifying. Welcome back to Franchitti! I’m sure missing all that seat time will be something he has really missed. It is nice to see him doing well.

Pocono is one of those funny tracks – a short track in one respect, a speedway in another. Ya need those big breaks or you end up tearing your car up like the 24 did not too far back. But at the same time, the track is fast.

I hate to see Fox go. I wish NASCAR would just give ’em all the races.

We’ll see if we are raising a Bud, clearing out the Smoke, building trophy space, or sipping a Pepsi at the end of it all.
