ok so i can run poor and if a teammate is a passed champ nascar will let me drive his car.cool,but seriously is this fair? when will nascar hold teams responsible for there proformances.we have the chase to allow more drivers the chance to win an undeserving championship, we have the lucky dog to provide a team a lap they didnt earn.if in our lives we cant rely on excuses to show why our situations are less then flatering then why is our sport doing this.face it fans our sport is broken, we are giving the sponsors everything and providing the fans with watered down powder puff driving.i wish we could fine nascar for actions detrimental to stock car racing.if they wont habor the sport then we as fans should be allowed to police it our selves.another example of nascars wuss like exterior is adding the 11th and 12th position in points a place in the chase because we wouldnt want them to feel left out. maybe im just old school but i believe that success should be earned not handed out.make every car qualify on time put every car in a position to fail and see who the real drivers are. a little pressure would do these drivers and teams some good. my driver is well in the top 35 but that shouldnt give him a exeption from needing too qualify well.points swapping is a smack in the face of the drivers and fans that grew this sport remove the top 35 and make it racing. dale sr would be rolling in his grave right about now .
