useually the last part of the season is when you see the rumors start to fly.not this year.a year after dale jr announced he was leaving dei, could the doors be close to closing on the house that dale built?rumor is that terisa is shopping dei to a promenant cup owner.with mark martin set to walk away and having truex at the end of his contract dei faces more than an up hill battle to become relivant again.seeing how well dale jr has run does casey mears get another year with hendrick or is it time to move on after the season for both team and driver. a good fit for hendricks 5 car would be martin truex who in my mind has to look at the big picture at dei and see that he iis the most marketable driver the have.another big story that has cooled some was the rumor that bobby labonte was thinking of driveing the 4th entry for rcr, it is a sad situation with petty enterprise not being competeitive and even though he was pfferd a contract extention it would be a better fit over at rcr then petty for the former champion.im sure we will see much more happen later in the year but for now the rumor mill is heating up
