look at gordon in 2000 and 2005 he didnt seem to have handle on the car and evn early this year, now it seems like they are starting put things togheter through testing, but it happens..I am more surprised at matt Kenseth than anything especcially becasue of how well edwards has ran… But a few tough races can rally screw things up for a driver..

have gone through slumps. Even Dale Sr was a mid pack driver for a couple of years.

I think
it’s just a big cycle. Slumps follow all major sports. You just have to persevere and move forward. If not you will just be forgotten like Mike Skinner. Thank goodness for the truck series and the success he had there. I remember him in the cup and man he really sucked.
