Boring racing
The Daytona 500 is the only race that we have had side by side racing. Understand that I have only been able to watch races on TV so far, so maybe there is more side by side racing behind the leaders. I will get to see the racing in person this weekend at Phoenix, granted not a mile and half track. I am concerned about the fact that so few cars are being able to stay on the lead lap, in Texas only 10 cars on the lead lap there has been less then 15 cars on the lead lap of all the races in 08 except Daytona. I have to be honest with you I ended up watching and listening to the IRL race from St. Pete yesterday, 4/6/08, it was a lot more interesting then the CUP race. I am a novice fan at best but NASCAR seems to have gone the same route as F1, teams are not allowed to be creative thus not allowing for any side by side racing. Stock car racing is meant to be Side by Side. Sorry for being so negative but exciting racing is why I am a NASCAR fan and the NASCAR racing thus far this year is not exciting.
