I have read several of the blogs this a.m. and I see that some of you are still talking about Kyle and Carl. Nothing wrong with that, and few of you are talking about Jr. and nothing wrong with that, and of course some of you are just plain tried of listening to all of the above. So I decided to give you all something else to read beside racing. Today was the first day back to school for the kids in Fort Worth, and my 2 grandsons, one 4 and the other 6 went back today, with their new outfits, and all the eagerness of returning to school, which if I remember last until the end of September. Of course I think some of you can relate to this next statement, and that is Thank God school as started. I love my grandsons, but who ever thought I would be helping to raise them at the age of 63. I was once told that the older you get your patience get longer, well I would like to find the person who wrote that, and find out if they had any kids. It is so quiet in the house. My son took them this morning to their schools, so that they would go to the right class. I can remember taking my son to school on his first day back, my how times flies. Than we could talk about the Democratic Convention and who Obama (I will learn to spell his name right before election) picked as his Vice President or guess at who is going to be McCain’s choice in Vice President. There is also the closing ceremony of the Olmypics, which I saw and it was spectacular. How about all medals won by our athletics. You see I do have other interest besides racing. I have my gardening, which right now I am trying to solve the problems with my hummingbird feeders, that are being taken over by bees. I also am looking forward to the Winter Olmypics. Well I think I have talked enough about other things besides Kyle and Carl. I can’t wait till this weekend it should be a good race. Enjoy the day because tomorrow it may not be there.
