What a finish!
I didn’t get to watch the race, but did listen on Sirius Channel 128! I tuned in late to the race, and only heard the last quarter or so of ‘Dega ‘07.
But, let me tell you…listening on the radio was very exciting. Especially the last 5 or so laps when Gordon, Mears and Stewart pushed Johnson into first place! It was short lived once it came down to the last lap and Gordon passed Johnson for the checkered flag!
Fans of Hendricks or not, you have to acknowledge the teamwork, especially between Gordon and Johnson. Of course when it comes down to it, they are competitors too. And in the end Gordon decided to take the checkered from Johnson and the Lowes Chevy 48.
Well, win some and lose some!

Edge of my Seat
have trackpass too, but I have pitcommand up on my laptop and listen to driver audio. Pitcommand really comes in handy when tv goes into a break.
The race was great. I was on the edge of my couch with five laps to go. I found myself standing yelling at the tv when Gordon moved in front of Tony and got pushed into the lead over Johnson… I was a little nervous when Jeff was riding all day in the back. I guess his plan worked. I know he got a pit road penalty, but that saved him from the big one that happed five laps later. It was nice to hear him and Crew Chief Steve Letarte talk about making there move the front. Once the three Hendrick boys hooked up in the draft I new they would make an impact in the end. You really need a drafting partner at Dega. Jeff, Jimmie and Casey worked well together in the closing laps. If Tony didn’t give Jeff the big push I think Jimmie would’ve won the race.

I think
radio is always the best place to listen.
I turn the TV down and use Trackpass to listen to MRN and the scanners.
TV broadcasts are so over played.
How many times do we have to see the “Dirty Air”?
