Your a legal adult, you are legaly responcible enought to vote, go to war for your country and be held accountable for any contract you sign!
The only down side would be a beer sponsor, but they don’t sponsor races anymore anfd they already have their drivers for the cars they sponsor, so I domn’t see that as an issue!

Nice Topic....
I think raising the racer’s age limit is and would be a good thing, and for several reasons. I think young drivers need at least (5) years in a local type series. They would be able to learn many things that would be valuable to them in those years. It would also allow future Team Owners and Sponsors to have a more clearer picture of who or what they were getting into by hiring a specific driver. It would also alow more seasoned drivers to keep their rides with a team longer. A lot of our (elder) favorite drivers are having a hard time either keeping or getting a ride due to the fact that sponsors are wanting the younger drivers in their wanting to have the next young rock-star-(ish ) super star. It would also allow a team to develop prospective drivers thru a smaller series of racing in which helps to keep a decent talent pool at the smaller “Saturday Night” racing venues, and it would be less expensive to develop these younger drivers.

I also think they should have to spend at least one full season in either the Nation Wide Series, ARCA Series, or any other mid league series, before they could enter Cup or Truck racing. I feel it should be this way for any driver regardless of age.
This would also serve these mid level series well with a good talent pool again, help promote these rac’n series, and allow a team to further develop their driver(s). I think also after a driver as followed such a route to thier “CUP Stardom”; they would really appreciate their ride, other drivers, the fans, and just how fortunate they really are to be able to race and earn a darn good liv’n do’n so. I think it would help bring some maturity and graciousness into the sport of Nascar rac’n….

As you said,
drivin’ ain’t the problem it’s dealin’ with the media “dogs”. That’s what gets’em in trouble. They shouldn’t be allowed to talk to the media until they’re 30! lol

What is the age now?
18? I think Kyle was driving in the Trucks when he was 17, but they made him stop. I think 18 is a good age.

Warren WALLace?
Min-age should be what ever Warren WALLace’s age is. He’s the BEST WALLace, hands down, at any age! Kenny WALLace should retire and make a spot for Warren.
