After watching Hendrick completely dominate this season with yet another win at Martinsville, and seeing Jr blow another engine (number 7 by the way) is it any wonder why Jr’s going to Hendrick?
Since everyone else in most recent years has caught up to DEI in restrictor plate racing and with this seasons engine problems, DEI has obviously lost their edge. If only the old man was still around running the company this [...] wouldn’t be going on there, I know that.

As a Jr. fan I can’t wait till next season when Jr moves on and gets the equipment that will get him WINS again!

I am glad Junior is moving on. I am sure Senior is turning in his grave over this, and Teresa has a right to make a business decision, being that it’s her company now. But I sincerely think that DEI will D-I-E without Junior. Someone ought to put a forensic accountant on the pit crew and see who’s getting the stipend for the “Mechanical failures”

I hate that JR split with DEI, I really wished something great would happen for them together. I believe that JR will do better at Hendrick and I know he has talent and yes he has overdriven this year. He wants a win so bad I can taste it.
Now from a female view…I am starting to look forward to ‘08 & Jr being with Rick. Now I’m gonna get mushy. LOL
I think that with each of them dealing with the death of a child or parent that they can give each other the support that they each miss & need.
Sorry about the mushy stuff guys. LOL

borderline21 made one or two pages back. That DEI/RCR is finding out about these engines now and when everyone else moves to them, DEI/RCR will already have them figured out. DEI/RCR is putting everything into these engines now, to be ready later and have the egde over the others in the coming year(s). Like HMS did w/ the COT, they put everything into that car before anyone else and now look how it’s paid off for them this year.

For example Hendricks. Two cars (Johnson & Gordon) in one garage and (Mears & Busch) in other. Are there two seperate engine building crewas or do a couple build engines for all four cars?

Let me ask you guys..
And I don’t want to sound stupid, but I honestly don’t know: Do each team have their own engine builder or is there a couple guys who build all the engines for all of the teams in an organazatoin. ? meaning does Jr have his own engine builder and Truex his own…or does one or two guys build for everyone at DEI/ RCR?

What everyone does know is that Sr ruled that company w/ an iron fist and I don’t think this would be going on if he were here.
