"BACON BINGO" -- "Do you wanna play?"

Friday May 02, 2008 @ 02:39 PM EDT

For the Fans of Nascar Chat, the next time you enter the room, pick up your BACON BINGO Card at the front door. On your card will be the five columns, B, A, C, O, N, with five car numbers in each square corresponding to today’s race lineup underneath the letter. The car numbers are assigned randomly and every card has an opportunity to win. From the green flag start, one of the illustrious moderators will pull a bacon bingo ball out of Sunny’s Tiara and call that car number. Continuing to do so every 3 to 20 laps depending on the race. 1/2 mile tracks have many more laps than the Super Speedways. If the car number that the moderator calls appears on your card then mark it accordingly. The center space is “free” and only official Bacon Bingo Cards have Dale Sr.’s picture embossed in that center square. Chatters are encouraged to “daub” their cards with an “Official” NASCAR dauber from Sharpie, or go “old school” and use a bottle cap from a BUD or MILLER LITE bottle. Many of us have hundreds of them lying around. The first chatter who successfully gets a “Bacon Bingo”, either vertically, horizontally or diagonally and posts into the room “BACON BINGO!” (in all caps – this is the only time all caps should be allowed), a moderator will post “Hold all cards, please!” The card is then checked and if it is a Bacon Bingo the appropriate prize awarded.
So – Do you wanna Play?
