If NASCAR stands for “National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing”
I think it is time for them to change the name to NAMSCAR.. National Association for Modified Stock Car Auto Racing. Only because there is nothing Stock about these cars

NASCAR Roots.
I understand your point of view and I agree there is nothing stock about these cars. I am sure you know NASCARS history so I will not belittle you with retelling it. I like the name NASCAR because of it’s roots. The name reminds me of what kind of rebels started stock car racing.
