new drivers...
I don’t remember what race it was, when Kangaroo meat ran.
Did he just Sit at the back of the field and watch and learn?
If he was just watchin and learning he took the ride of a driver who could of competed
they have to learn in the minors not the pro’s

One Thing
They will eiother make it or they wont. Money is what makes it in the business. If they make money they will stay if they don’t then they won’t. It’s that simple.

Sauter, Raines and Said...
deserve rides way before these new clowns get them. I don’t think that most NASCAR fans give a hoot about these F1 rejects. I have watched NASCAR guys come up from the Busch series and the trucks, they should be the ones getting the CUP rides not these bunch of pampered princesses from open wheel! They are dangerous in 43 car “stock car” fields in my opinion. Just yet another way that our sport is turning into something that fits ESPN.

sign of the times ?
I am thinking that the sponsor money is going to teams that stay in the news …....doesn’t matter to them how but they want PRESS of some kind on off season…..during season and during the races.
look how much press a guy gets when he makes a bone head move and wrecks someone, almost better than a win ?? go figure

The drivers that
lost their rides this year got a raw deal. I’m with you Shark. These open-wheelers ought to spend one season in either trucks or Nationwide, and do some learning. Montoya said that there was a lot to learn about driving cars with fenders. Meanwhile, drivers who already know how do drive these cars, and the kids that are trying to come up the ranks in the Nationwide series are getting the shaft.

Agreed
Probably one of the drivers that comes to mind when I think of who’s been put out of a job is Danny O’Quinn. He had a lot going for him, and Roush didn’t give him much of a chance to develop in the Busch Series. It’s a shame that there are a lot of good drivers being cut from team rosters before they really come into their own.
