Ya may regret puttin me on your Buddies list
1st Jack needs ta shut up. When diggin a hole ya need ta stop diggin at some point.
2nd competative advantage be damned. It disabled a safety device. That led is there for the protection of the driver, Carl. Sorry ta disagree w/ Jack, who I used ta respect, but a bolt fails when it breaks. Not when it isn’t tightened.
Same penalty that was given ta 55, 24 & 48. Except their violations didn’t involve safety.

compettive edge
that edge is what all teams are striving for and pushing as far as possible. when we get a check ,well ,bite the bullet. the comments were great from everyone, hopefully helpful in sorting out this special sport, racing, to win.

Did you actually READ why???
Don’t think we know it all and neither do you for whining like you are. If you read the article it clearly stated his car PASSED inspection. The oil reserviour cover was securely bolted down. Now tell me how does a secure bolted cover all of a sudden get off and become missing, but yet you proclaim they didn’t cheat. Your driver’s team cheated get over it and lets move on to Atlanta like most of us are. Ok here’s a kleenex to get them tears of anger

Heres two things though
1) You are basing your reactions on somebody elses thoughts, not your own. Don’t go but what they think, go by what you think.
2) It has also been said that Tv killed the radio, movies killed the novel, Mtv killed the dj, DVD killed the theatre industry…I could go on. Any old timer to the sport will not like how things are going today. One day we will have our turn coplaining how Nuclear race cars just ruined a good crew chief and master mechanic.

Carl Fan?
I assume that you are an Edwards fan by your defensive writing….It’s OK to defend your driver…We all do….But the bottom line is…this problem had happened before with another car or two,...and they were fined etc….Carl has to take the same penalty….he is a very talented driver …but not immune to the sanctions set by Nascar….he’ll rebound and you can be sure his oil cap won’t fall off again.

he did cheat
*you know what is sad about this ? they did cheat if they did not cheat then NASCAR would of not fined them 100 driver points or 100 owner points and $100,000 dollars. so you tell me they did not cheat!!!!!
