Kyle started 27th and hung out around 20th all day. Tony led most of the laps until lap 280 of 301 and McMurray tagged the back of JR as JR was slowing to enter the pits. Then Montoya decided Kyle had raced him to hard and he turned into the right rear of Kyle *“UNDER CAUTION”. *That spun Kyle into the wall and he had to pit for repairs. One lap later the red flagged and ended the race due to rain. Kyle ended up 24th. He is still 1st in Cup Points 67 ahead of Jeff Burton.
