Kyle started 5th and 3rd in Nationwide Points at Darlington. By lap 54 of 147 he had taken the lead. He and the leaders pitted at lap 99 and he restarted 11th. Then disaster on lap 101 while trying to pass lap cars. As Kyle was passing a couple lap cars the car in the middle came down and Kyle went down on to the apron. As a result (less banking) Kyle lost it and spun into the wall ending his day. It’s not all bad news however, he is now second in POINTS 112 behind Bowyer.
Let’s hope the Cup Race on Sunday has a better ending for Kyle.
