This past weekend, as most of you probably already know, Jimmie Johnson celebrated his victory in the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard. This also meant a victory for the American Red Cross.
His sponsor, Lowe’s, picked Indianapolis as one of two tracks for its “Racing for Relief” campaign, which raises money for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
For each lap Johnson completed, Lowe’s promised to donate $48. If he won, which he did, Lowe’s added an additional $4,800.
The grand total Lowe’s will donate, based on the results, will be approximately $8,208 to help victims of disasters.
Thank you to Lowe’s and Jimmie Johnson for supporting the American Red Cross mission to aid victims of disasters.
Thank you to you as well if you have supported the American Red Cross in order to help others in need.
