OK guys, I didn’t think anyone aside from myself noticed that Ingrid Gordon was caught fixing her husband Jeff Gordon’s hair during the National Anthem.
Not only was it disrespectful, it made her look like a complete diva and this sport has too many of those already and not all of them are women!
I have to share with you the email a reader sent me.
Melinda Rose from Texas writes…
“My family was very upset to see Jeff Gordon’s wife, Ingrid, fussing with his hair during the National Anthem. She needs to be educated in the etiquette on what behavior is acceptable during the National Anthem. We do have a Jeff Gordon fan in our household and she was upset that he allowed that to happen also. If Ingrid can’t behave and show some respect during the playing of “The Star Spangled Banner”, she should not be on pit road for national tv coverage to pick up her antics to show to thousands of fans.
We have many troops in areas that are fighting for our right to be able to do what we want to do and live our lives as we have become accustomed to and she is showing no respect to them either.
Someone please help her before she gives Jeff and NASCAR a bad name.

He already had “hat head” and was getting ready to put on a helmet so wonder why she wasted time trying to “fix” it? Regardless of why, it was in very poor taste to do that while the National Anthem was being sung.

i too
i thought is was disrespectful. i’ve been to hockey games where the candian national anthem is played and i stand as i would for the american anthem. it’s called respecting your host or your guest. if she chooses not to, then i/we have the freedom to think she’s disrespectful and arrogant. maybe she wants it that way. my guess is that it won’t happen again.

Let me try and make this more politicaly correct.She isn’t an American so she has the freedom to do what she wants during the anthem.If she wants to fondle Jeff’s head,so be it.Thats why our troops fight….to let us have freedom.You have the freedom to disagree with it.(I thought it was tasteless personally)
