Last weekend finally gave me some hope. I always look forward to the road courses, I know some dread these venues, but not me! To watch the boys wheel those cars left and right, just gives me chills, Love it! But after Sonomo comes the track I really could see go bye,bye, Loudon. Yuck, I have never really liked this track, BORING, but then I have a special grudge against her. She took both Adam Petty and Kenny Irwin. Not to mention Loudon stole a date from a very historic Track, North Wilkesboro Speedway. Now I know NWS was old, out of date, and small. But come on, what other track changes elevation? Best Short track racing ever, North Wilkesboro Speedway. But I always find the Loudon race, well lacking. She’s a flat, short track with no personality, Plenty of sealant, which makes her as slippery as stepping in a fresh cow pie. Give me a Darlington or Rockingham please. How come no one has built a new 1/2 mile, 3/4 mile or 1 mile short track? All these cookie cutter tracks, only two road courses, hello NASCAR, Boring! We need a new road course in the schedule and a new short track, And I know just where you can build either or both,lol… South Texas,hehehehe.. The NHRA loves us, so should NASCAR. Maybe then you could actually find NASCAR stuff locally. I imagine other parts of the country without tracks go through the same thing, Thank goodness for the NASCAR superstore! Oh yea, and PLEASE stop mass mailing me over here, I currently have like 355 messages, and unless I individually delete them, due to the bugs carrying off my mass delete button, I can’t find any messages that are important, and believe me I try,lol.. So for now if you wanna say something to me, please leave it in my comment area, easier to find there. I know LD is working on exterminating the little pests, and hopefully soon my delete button will re appear. So it is official, Casey Mears and Hendrick Motorsports will part ways at the end of the current season. So makes you wonder huh? Attention, driver vacancy at HMS, line forms to the right,lol… So everyone has Smoke going somewhere, and well I hope it is true,lol.. Come back Tony, back to the light, back to the world of Chevy,hehehhe Home Depot, speaking the subject of Tony is reevaluating their NASCAR Sponsorship, due to the economy and slumping sales, I hope my Husband gets his raise. He works for HD, as a Plumbing Specialist. But I know from what I hear, Home Depot would like to remain with Tony, But rumors are flying and until I hear something official from Smoke’s mouth, I will continue to wait patiently, for now. I am beginning to wonder if Mark Martin will ever use that Rocking chair FOX presented him with. I thought he wanted to retire? But I also have to admit, He would be greatly missed at the track! So as the silly season heats up, I wonder if they make a sunscreen? Silly season sunscreen, for the rumors in your sport,lol.. Still no word at all on a new sponsor for the Truck series, not even good rumors,lol..Well I am supposed to researching attendence and ratings for the Nationwide series, for a friend. And not finding any of what I need,lol… So I am off to visit the track sites and see if I can dig up the numbers.. Alot of history in that series, it is a great series, oh yea have you heard the rumor that NASCAR is gonna only allow Cup level drivers to make like 5 races? Absurd, if they want the series to die, then by all means. But if they want the series to flourish, they will just let the Buschwackers continue to help sell tickets, by racing. Isn’t that funny, the series name changed, but we still call them Buschwackers, shouldn’t it be Nationwidewackers? No, No Nationwide Jumpers sounds better, any other ideas? So the skies are talking here in Texas, more rain today, my new yard is getting mushy, and I just finished mowing and weedeating it all, ain’t that always the way?
