Well, only 55 days left before the “Grand Daddy of Them All.” Daytona-and what a Daytona it will be. JJ is coming off of back-to-back cups, Gordon is primed to make another run, Kyle gets to creat issues in a Toyota, Waltrip is poised to continue his failure as an owner / driver, and best of all JR has the greatest opportunity in the world for a driver-to be highly skilled and run for the best owner in the sport today. To be honest, JR is by far my driver of choice-old school, family of racing, from the deep South, and we are close friends. Ok, just kidding about the friend part, but it did sound good as I typed it. Bottom line, and this is coming from a JR Nation member, its time to win J.R. You will have the best equipment, great network of teammates, excellent sponsors, and an entire nation pulling for you. No excuses for 88 in 08. We will not hold it against you if you don’t come away with a extra big Cup to drink your beer in after Homestead, but we will be really hurt if you fail to be a contender. You have our support, Mr. Most Popular Driver, but we need you to meet us in the middle with a win or two and contend for the coveted drink holder at the end of next season.
