Good question
I like your question because it made me look at myself. I grew up in Michigan. All My friends parents worked for general motors or ford or some where that had a conection to the big three. I have since lived in georgia, illinois and ohio, and have realzed that there is a much stronger resentment towards foriegn cars in michigan than in other states. It doesn’t mean that I think toyota are not quality cars, they are very good cars, and the nascar toyotas will do great. But I know I have a hard time wishing anyone in a toyota wins. Its nothing personal to any drivers, or teams, its just from how and where I grew up. U.S. auto makers were all my friends and families livelyhood. There won’t be any riots though if toyota wins.
