Hey Gang!!
I am sitting here, literally sick to my stomach, filled with dread, fear, and ANGER!!! Oh the freaking ANGER!! I HATE CANCER!!!
A friend of mine that I me thru myspace that has Inflammatory Breast Cancer like me, is losing her battle…..
She was on experimental protocals since her regular oncologist told her there was nothing else to do….
they have now pretty much pulled that. There is one more chemo she can try, but they don’t think her body can handle it….and she has already been off of all treatments for 8 weeks….
she is in a tremendous amount of pain from teh cancer and from what her poor body has been thru!!!!
it is a very stark slap in the face reminder of what could be in store for me! Like me, she beat it once….like I am now, she enjoyed remission…..but then it came back, and came back with a vengeance!!! and it is now winning…..
She has two children under the age of 5, and I look at mine going….what will happen to them?? Now I know they will be fine with their father should something ever happen to me…but still…..my body hurts from the anger and the fear I feel right now!!!!
I AM ABSOLUTELY PISSED!!!! DAM CANCER IS WINNING ANOTHER WAR….WORKING ON TAKING A BLESSED SOUL…...
I am just pissed….forgive me for venting….but I have no place else to go!! No one in my life really knows how to respond to the “scared to death freaking out cancer” person in me…..and it is rearing it’s ugly head BIG TIME tonight!!!!
Please pray for my friend and her family! Her and her hubby divorced after her original battle with cancer too…so we have so much in common it is scary….she is only 38 years old….

My stepdad died of cancer a few years back and my step-sister has Lupus… they say it’s a rare form of cancer, but I guess it’s all how you look at it. Anyway, my thoughts are with you and your family. Anytime you need someone to talk to feel free to pm me. Take care and much luv.

Dear MsHolly,
Know that anytime you need to vent or need someone, we are here for you. I’m just starting to find out that several of my cousins have different cancers. One has had his colon completely taken out due to cancer. And I’m hearing about skin cancer on several of them. I pray for all of them and I pray for you and your friend. Please stay strong and if you can’t you can lean on us.

Get upset every time I hear that dreaded word. For the life of me, I still don’t know why we have all this medical knowledge and technology and still can not beat cancer. I am so sorry about your friend, but you need to stay positive. Both of you and your families will be added to my prayer list.

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. My father is loosing his battle with liver cancer as we “speak”. I hate Cancer as it has taken the lives of too many of my friends. But, I also have several friends who beat the battle with breast cancer and it did not come back. I hope and pray that you will stay in remission, my friend!!

prays are with you. I am a cancer survivor. In 1984 I was dx. with colon cancer, but because of a new procedure the doctors were able to get all the cancer by taking all of my colon out. I was guienie pig No. 25. In 1998 I was dx with cervical (excuse the spelling) and they were able to get it all. So I was lucky. I had a sister-in-law that had breast cancer and beat it the first time, but not the second time. Sometimes I feel guilty because I survive and she did not. There is nothing wrong with being angry, or piss, and as far as I am concern and I believe I speak for the other nascar fans, you can vent all you want, and with all the shoulders that are out there you can lean on them, and we can take the load. I know its hard right now, but trust in God, he will help.
